WALL DIALOGUES - 2003/2009

Color Film, 16 x 20 in.

Ashrafieh, Beirut. The streets are quiet. It is over. Walking through familiar places, I count the bullet holes with my fist. Collective memory. Cries of anger crushed against the walls. Christians and Muslims, unable to unite, even in writing. The remains of a Bachir Gemayel portrait silently float by. Hopscotch. The once-president took his cross to the grave.
