These collections explore a variety of qualities and refined techniques, some of which are handmade in India. These techniques include bleach print cotton matelasse, swiss dot weave with gros grain ribbon appliques, pieced materials, crewel embroideries on washed silk and linen, hemstitch embellishments among other constructions. The distressed look of these textiles adds a contemporary artisanal twist further enhanced by the philosophy of the brand.

Beekman 1802 mercantile goods are hand-crafted in Sharon Springs, NY, by local American craftspeople.
