Wabi signifies simplicity, the idea of moving towards having less, while Sabi refers to the passage of time and the authenticity found in age. Together, the two concepts form Wabi-Sabi, a philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection and embraces the natural process of growth and decay. Rooted in Japan, Wabi-Sabi values harmony in the uncomplicated and unassuming, celebrating the inherent beauty of things that have been shaped by time and wear. This perspective is reflected in the use of rescued yarns, trims, and fabrics, intricately woven together, creating unique, timeless pieces that honor both their story and transformation.
