“Perfect Imperfection”



Wabi means simplicity, moving towards having less. Sabi refers to the passage of time and the authenticity of age.The two words joined together, Wabi-Sabi, convey a certain perspective of the world finding beauty in the imperfect forms. Rooted in Japan, this ideology or state of being accepts the natural cycle of growth and decay and honors harmony in what is uncomplicated and unassuming. Rescued yarns, vintage ribbons and fabrics woven into each other.
